 Membership: By becoming a member of the Woodlawn Museum, not only do you enjoy special benefits just for yourself, but you also make a statement about the importance of preserving history. Your membership helps ensure that future generations can learn from our collections and continue to use the grounds as a public park. Annual membership benefits include: Free admission per member per year, a subscription to the newsletter, a 10% discount in the Gift Shop for purchases over $10.00, notification of the annual members only tea, and notification of special events as designated by the Museum. Annual Appeal: Woodlawn Museum continually strives to make a difference in our community, but we need your help to do this more successfully. Your contribution to the Annual Fund will help the Museum to continue to enhance its quality programs. Now, Annual gifts are more important than ever to ensure that the expanded historic preservation and education goals for Woodlawn can be met. Contributions to the Annual Appeal allow for greater budget flexibility, especially when it becomes necessary to use donated funds to fulfill the Matching Funds requirements of many grants. Each dollar donated then becomes two or more. Woodlawn is actively seeking such grants, in order to meet the increased expenses for much needed ongoing and planned building preservation efforts and an expanded education program designed to meet the needs of a greater number of people in the Downeast community.
